Sáng nay, học sinh khối 7 Trường THCS Ngoại ngữ đã có buổi trải nghiệm tại Công ty Cổ phần Năng lượng Môi trường Thiên Ý Hà Nội – đơn vị vận hành nhà máy điện rác hiện đại nhất Việt Nam tại Nam Sơn, Sóc Sơn.

Khám phá công nghệ “biến rác thành năng lượng”

Tại Trung tâm Điều hành và Khu xử lý rác, học sinh được giới thiệu về:

* Quy trình tiếp nhận rác thải sinh hoạt của Hà Nội.

* Công nghệ lò đốt hiện đại xử lý hàng nghìn tấn rác mỗi ngày.

* Cách chuyển hóa nhiệt lượng thành điện năng đưa vào lưới điện quốc gia.

* Vai trò của nhà máy trong giảm chôn lấp rác và bảo vệ môi trường đô thị.

Khi quan sát phòng điều khiển, các em theo dõi hệ thống giám sát công nghệ, quy trình xử lý khí thải khép kín và tiêu chuẩn an toàn môi trường quốc tế, đồng thời hiểu thêm về công việc của kỹ sư môi trường.

Qua các hoạt động giúp học sinh tìm hiểu được cách xử lý đúng cách của chất thải để trở thành nguồn năng lượng tái tạo ; Việc phân loại rác và giảm nhựa dùng một lần là thói quen cần thiết. Công nghệ bảo vệ môi trường đang hiện hữu ngay tại Thủ đô.

Hành trình cảm xúc để hiểu hơn về lịch sử dân tộc

Buổi chiều, học sinh tiếp tục tìm hiểu Nhà tù Hỏa Lò – nơi giam giữ nhiều chiến sĩ yêu nước thời Pháp thuộc. Tại đây, các em quan sát không gian giam giữ, các hiện vật – tư liệu lịch sử và lắng nghe những câu chuyện về lòng kiên trung, bất khuất của cha ông.

Chuyến tham quan giúp học sinh thấm thía rằng hòa bình hôm nay được đánh đổi bằng nhiều hy sinh và những giá trị lịch sử cần được trân trọng, gìn giữ

Chỉ trong một ngày, học sinh khối 7 đã

GRADE 7 EXPLORES WASTE TREATMENT TECHNOLOGY & HỎA LÒ PRISON RELIC SITE

A practical learning journey about the environment – history – and civic responsibility

This morning, Grade 7 students from ULIS Middle School participated in an experiential learning trip to Thien Y Hanoi Environmental Energy Joint Stock Company – the operator of Vietnam’s most advanced waste-to-energy plant located in Nam Sơn, Sóc Sơn.

Discovering the Technology of “Turning Waste into Energy”

At the Operations Center and Waste Treatment Area, students learned about:

• The process of receiving and handling Hanoi’s household waste.

• Modern incineration technology capable of processing thousands of tons of waste per day.

• How heat generated from waste combustion is converted into electricity and fed into the national grid.

• The plant’s role in reducing landfill waste and protecting the urban environment.

During the visit to the control room, students observed the technological monitoring system, the closed-loop flue gas treatment process, and international environmental safety standards. They also learned more about the duties of environmental engineers.

Through these activities, students gained an understanding of how proper waste treatment can transform garbage into a renewable energy source. They realized the importance of waste sorting and reducing single-use plastics—essential habits for protecting the environment. Modern environmental technology is not far away; it is already operating right here in the capital city.

VISITING THE HỎA LÒ PRISON RELIC SITE

An emotional journey to understand national history

In the afternoon, students continued their learning by exploring the Hỏa Lò Prison, where many patriotic revolutionaries were once imprisoned during the French colonial period. Here, they observed the former detention spaces, historical artifacts, and documents, and listened to stories of courage, resilience, and sacrifice.

The visit helped students understand that today’s peace was earned through great sacrifices, and that historical values must be honored and preserved.
